Three Shires use specialised equipment for the removal of Trees and Tree Stumps. Offering both Grinding and full removal services.
After inspection, Stumps will be removed through several methods, depending on the size of the the Tree’s Root System and Stump.

Three Shires carry out Tree Felling for site development, when a tree or trees are at risk of falling, have died or carry disease.
When it is not possible to Fell a Tree, due to property boundaries, potential damage to nearby buildings or other restrictions, Three Shires will dismantle a Tree in safe, manageable sections.
Dead Wood Removal
Dead wood is a hazardous part of the tree that can occur naturally. If not removed, it can fall causing damage or injury.
Three Shires Tree Climbers carryout a full inspection on a Tree, cut out any dead wood found, and safely remove the item.
Tree Planting Schemes
Three Shires offer mechanised and manual planting options. We can cater for any requirement from small landscape scheme creation to large scale production reforestation.
Our mechanical planting systems enable us to reduce the time-frame required when compared with manual planting operations.
In late season planting, this can make the difference between job completion prior to the transplants awakening from dormancy.
Where larger scale and semi mature transplants are required we will usually incorporate auger preparation of planting site, we plant to enable efficient distribution of transplants, compost and protection materials onto any site
Tree and Woodland Translocation
Three Shires in-house team of specialist Arborists perform Tree Translocation for a vast size of Tree sizes using specialist machinery and equipment.
Trees or Woodland Translocation is carried out according to age and likelihood of re-establishment. Three Shires Arborists will carry out a Tree inspection, and ensure the grounds of the new location help the Tree to thrive.
Woodland Thinning
Three Shires Arborists specialise in Woodland Thinning services that will benefit the remaining trees to grow to their maximum potential.
Thinning reduces Tree growth competition, which if left, would risk the Tree growth quality.
Root Identification and DNA Testing
When there are more than one species of tree on site, DNA testing of roots can potentially identify the origin. However, differentiating between roots and individual trees is not possible where trees are cloned, have grown from suckers or are grafted.
Three Shires can provide expert advice prior to sampling so that the cost of inappropriate tests can be avoided.
